§ Hardheim, Germany
§ 01 Products / four families

Four product families.
One mixing principle.

Intensive mixers, grinding mills, QualiMaster analytics and turnkey plants. Specified, engineered and commissioned from Hardheim with a worldwide service network.

§ 02 Common questions

Questions process engineers actually ask.

Five common questions answered by the Hardheim team. If your question is not here, send it to a senior process engineer directly.

01 Which product family do I start with for a new battery cathode line? +
Most cathode slurry projects begin with an intensive mixer sized from the laboratory unit through a 1,500 or 3,000 liter production machine. Pair it with QualiMaster sensors for inline viscosity and moisture, and route condition data through ProView. Talk to a process engineer to pick the starting point that fits your throughput and binder chemistry.
02 Can I validate a recipe on a lab unit and run it at production scale? +
Yes. The laboratory, small scale and large scale platforms share the same patented pan and tool principle. A recipe qualified on a 0.1 liter unit translates to larger scales with minimal re-tuning, because the mechanics of energy input and shear remain geometrically consistent.
03 How does Eirich service equipment in the field? +
Worldwide service combines local engineering partners with Teleservice remote diagnostics and Condition Monitoring. The ProView platform streams process data from the plant to the Hardheim service desk for analysis, so a spare part or a process correction can be dispatched before a line is stopped.
04 Do you build complete plants or only individual machines? +
Both. Eirich delivers single machines and turnkey plants. The turnkey track covers process engineering, equipment selection, construction supervision, commissioning and training. Most turnkey projects combine an intensive mixer, a grinding stage, raw material intake and discharge handling, and QualiMaster analytics.
05 Can a legacy plant be upgraded with QualiMaster sensors without replacing the mixer? +
Yes. QualiMaster sensors and ProView data collection can be retrofitted to an existing mixer on a scheduled shutdown. Retrofit projects typically start with an assessment by a senior process engineer, followed by a sensor selection and a commissioning window.
